I recently chose Comfort Inn for a corporate retreat, and it did the job. The business center was solid, complete with free WiFi, which made catching up on work a breeze. As someone from Auckland who often juggles outdoor adventures with work, I found the central location in Fairfax pretty ideal—only a short drive from major DC sites. Our room was spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a stove, which isn’t common for standard rooms. This setup was useful for late nights working or grabbing a quick bite. Free parking was a bonus, especially since I have a truck and occasionally tow gear. While the included breakfast was decent, it could have been available a bit later than 9 a.m. My only real issue was a minor facilities glitch, but the quick response from the staff was appreciated. Comfort Inn offers a reliable experience for business travelers looking to balance work with a bit of leisure.
